Life
Did you think I had forsaken the world of blogging? Sorry to disappoint, but my computer is still broken.
Things have been very busy at my house. Of course Christmas has come and gone since my last post. It is also a new year. We are only into the second month and I am ready for things to slow down.
My sister found out that she was pregnant. A week later we got a new dog. People suspect that that was not a coincidence. I have an abundance of children. I will admit though that when she said she was pregnant my heart was a little sad that our family has reached its maximum capacity. Then I went home tried to get mine to do housework and was glad that 4 is all I have. Back to the story of the dog....Many questioned why we got a new dog last year when our other dog died. Someone in my family(not me) said that he always had a dog when he was growing up so he wanted his children to always have a dog. That's fine, but the dog we got was a husky. She is beautiful. She is all white and very big. The great thing about these dogs is that they are generally very friendly and good with children. There are exceptions to this but she is not one of them. She is good, but very energetic. We named her Zoe which means life because we were having a hard time with the death of our 11 year old dog. She is definitely very full of life. The downfall to huskies is that they are pack dogs. So the best way to get her to calm down was to find her a friend. We had been discussing getting a new dog for awhile. (It just so happenend that we got her a week after my sister made her announcement.) Her name is Daisy. She was homeless and left at our vet. At least we can say we did a good deed. She is part Jack Russell terrier. She is very small but also energetic so her(she?) and Zoe get along very well. We did not get another pet the next week when my sister announced she was having twins. 2 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs, 2 fish, and a cat are plenty.
