I'm not feeling creative today.
In all honesty, I don't think I feel creative on any day. I'm too tired to think of a funny title. Anyway, on to todays news.
I went into the bathroom on Monday and noticed a strange odor. Not the normal bathroom odor, but a familiar one none the less. Yes, the odor of a dead hermit crab. We no longer have any hermit crabs, I am sad to say. But don't you worry, the "crabitat" will not go to waste. My kids won two goldfish at the fall festival we went to on Halloween night. So the crabitat is now going to be an aquarium. I needed more things to feed.
I just remembered ---I was feeling creative one day!!!!! (Sorry for the excitement. but when things like that only happen once every few years, I must celebrate.) Here's the story - I have a "friend" whose child seems to have no interest in sitting on the toilet. I have tried to help my "friends" child and encourage him that there is nothing wrong with this part of life. Even with promises of donuts and ice cream, new toys, and money, still no interest. Until last Saturday. For some reason he decided he might try. And try he did. We were all very proud. Because this child is very methodical, I began discussing with him the steps in going to the bathroom. He thought this was very interesting. I started the conversation just to pass the time while his mother was on the phone. He found the whole concept very intriguing, and kept asking for more steps. In a burst of creative energy, I came up with the ten steps to going potty. I am not going to tell them because I am considering writing a bestselling children's book. We reviewed the steps a couple of times and I told him to try them at home. His mother thought it was pretty funny. She was laughing until a few days later he told her he wanted to try the 10 steps. It was a little late, but he tried. Effort has to count for something. I am interested in hearing her version of the story.

Is that a hint? I do think we might have a bestseller, though.
This could be more creative that you first thought. This could be the answer to allllll of our problems!!

P.S. sorry about the crab. You might find fish funner. They do swim instead of just sitting there.
Update on the fish: One of the fish has already moved on to the big fish tank in the sky. Of course, in order to keep up with previous acts, we went right out and bought a new fish. I see a bad habit forming here.
sad about the crab, i like the fish though
